A bomb threat investigated by Gloucestershire police this morning is believed to have been a hoax.
Police recieved a phone call at 5am this morning claiming there was a potential bomb threat at a property in Cheltenham.
After closing roads in the centre of the town, searching the property and reviewing CCTV, the police were satisfied there was no credible threat and now suspect it was a hoax call.
Gloucestershire police said they would always urge people to remain vigilant and that if you suspect anything suspicious or have any concerns to report them to police immediately by calling 999.
Anyone with information on this incident should contact police through the website or on 101, quoting incident 34 of April 7.
