About a mile east of Cirencester a deer was seen with a plastic carrier over its head.
When it ran off, the bag flipped from covering its face, but was held fast in its antlers.
A photo posted on Social Media In an effort to alert local farmers/landowners.
Outcome unknown. Deer-stalking being a well nigh impossible task.
Last Sunday, just three miles north of the town centre during a village litter pick,
two bin bags of used nappies discovered, carefully secreted at the back of the verge.
Action taken: These were double-bagged to avoid environmental contamination and
reported to CDC as a fly-tip.
As one who litter-picks rubbish thoughtlessly discarded, week in and week out, I ask
the rhetorical question, “Do we really care?”
