A Stroud man who assaulted another man using a knife has been ordered to pay £1,000 in compensation.
Andrew Wood, 31, of Little Mill Court, Valley, caused actual bodily harm to his victim on March 31 in Stroud.
At Cheltenham Magistrates Court on July 7 he was sentenced to prison for 26 weeks suspended for 12 months.
The judge ordered him to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work and to attend rehabilitation appointments.
Wood, who pleaded guilty in June, must also pay a victim surcharge of £128 and costs of £85.
The total, £1,213, must be paid by April 8, 2021.
