A man was taken to hospital after being robbed in Stonehouse on Tuesday.
The victim was walking his dog on Laburnum Walk at 10.30pm when he was attacked from behind by three men.
The men, who were all wearing dark clothing and had their hoods up, pushed the victim causing him to fall to the ground. Once he had fallen over they continued to attack him.
The victim’s blue iPhone 12 Pro Max fell from his hand during the attack and the men stole it before leaving.
One of the group was described as being 5ft 11ins tall and the other two were slightly taller and of larger builds. Two had dark hair and the third had fair possibly ginger hair.
The man was taken to hospital after sustaining a number of injuries and has since been discharged.
Officers from Gloucestershire Constabulary’s local policing team are appealing for witnesses. They are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time or lives in the area and may have either dashcam, doorbell or CCTV footage which could help the investigation.
