STROUD Red Band gathered in the town for their annual 'Horns on Horns Road' march, on bank holiday Monday.
After assembling at the corner of Horns Road and Bisley Road at midday, the players processed to the Crown and Sceptre pub at the end of the street, playing New Orleans style jazz.
It was a pop-up participation music event, with an open invitation extended to all brass, woodwind and percussion players.
Downloadable music scores were available beforehand.
The musicians were encouraged to wear horns on their head and bring flags and banners.
