SOUL singer Mica Paris is set to perform in Stroud this weekend.
She will take to the Sub Rooms stage on Saturday, from 8pm.
Mica was raised listening to soul and gospel music at her grandparents' church and was a member of a gospel choir in her teens.
Her debut album So Good, released in 1988, went Platinum. It included her first top ten hit, 'My One Temptation'.
More worldwide hit albums and singles followed, including 'Black Angel', 'Stay' and 'Carefree,' together with collaborations with respected artists such as David Gilmour, Prince and Jools Holland, before turning her talents to London’s West End stage starring in Mama I Want To Sing, The Vagina Monologues and Sweet Lorraine.
She has also appeared in Strictly Come Dancing (2006) and EastEnders.
