NAILSWORTH Town Council are looking forward to welcoming residents to the annual town meeting tomorrow (Saturday), from 10.30am – 1pm.
The annual event, postponed from April due to Covid, showcases the town’s community spirit with displays from many community groups in the Town Square (bus station), a chance to meet town councillors and to find out what the council’s plans are for next year.
Instead of a marquee, there will be spacious, covered market stalls with lots of air circulation due to Covid-19.
The event will be on the same day as the third Market Street event.
The Town Awards, featuring the Chamberlain Trophy for Sporting Excellence, Festival Arts Award, Youth Award and Town Shield, will be presented at 11am.
