With bonfire night just around the corner, here are some of the fireworks displays taking place throughout the region.

Friday, November 5

Firework Fest at Barnwood in Gloucester

Described as Gloucester’s ‘biggest bonfire night display’, the Firework Fest will be taking place at the Wall’s club on Hammond Way in Barnwood.

Gates for this event open at 5.30pm and the fireworks start at 8.30pm.

Tickets are £5 for children, £10 for adults and £25 for a family.

Fireworks at The Carpenters Arms

For a good view of fireworks in Stroud, the Carpenters Arms in Redhouse Lane, Westrip, are opening at 5pm and will have a BBQ, mulled wine, hot chocolate and liqueur coffees as well as toffee apples to savour.

Miserden Fireworks Display and Bonfire

Located at Miserden Primary School, gates for this event also open at 5pm with the fireworks display starting at 6.30pm.

Tickets are £2 for a child (under 16), £5 for an adult and £12 for a family of four.

There will also be a BBQ and refreshments. You are asked to take a lateral flow test before going.

All proceeds will go to the primary school.

Nailsworth Primary School PTFA Firework Display

Nailsworth Primary School is on Nympsfield Road and their fireworks event will be at the school in Forest Green from 5.30pm.

There will also be a  bar and BBQ (with vegetarian and vegan options).

Tickets are £6 per adult, £3 per child or £12 for a family (2 adults, 2 children) if bought in advance from either the school office or the Nailsworth Town Information Centre (inside Nailsworth library).

All funds raised from this evening will go towards helping children in the school. 

Stratton Primary School fireworks

Stratton Primary School (Elphick Rd, Cirencester) will be hosting their annual fireworks display.

The organisers say there will be more sparkle and less sound this year.

Gates for this event open at 5.30pm and the display starts at 6pm.

Tickets are £3 for a child, £5 for an adult and £15 for a family of four.

Saturday, November 6

Cattle Country Fireworks Display

This Fireworks Display will take place at Cattle Country Farm Park in Berkeley Health Park.

The bonfire will be lit at 6.30pm and at 7pm the fireworks display will begin.

Tickets are £9.50 per person with online booking deemed essential.

There will be takeaway food and drink from Graze and Graze and between 5pm and 6.30pm the two indoor play barns will also be open.

Dursley Fireworks

At the Dursley Recreation Ground, Dursley’s Fireworks show will be supporting the Longfield Hospice.

Tickets on the gate are £5 and the display will also include live music, a BBQ and glow stall.

Frampton Bonfire Night & Fireworks

Located at Frampton Youth Football Club, Frampton’s Bonfire Night and Fireworks is on between 5pm and 10pm.

At the event there will be a professional firework display, a huge bonfire, food, music and a bar.

Tickets are £10 per adult and £5 per child and they are available online or at the Green shop.

Minchinhampton Firework Display

Located at Minchinhampton Primary School, the gates will be open at 5pm with the fireworks taking place at 6.30pm.

Tickets are to be bought in advance with it costing adults £6, children £4 and a family ticket is £15.

The family ticket is only available to buy in advance from M & B stores at the School Office.

Thornbury Fireworks night

The event takes place at Mundy Playing Fields and will include a child display at 6.30pm, a bonfire at 7pm and the main firework display at 7.30pm as well as a popcorn machine.

It is £2.50 for a child ticket (under 12) and £5 for an adult ticket.

Wotton-under-Edge Fire display

This event will take place at the Wotton Community PARC with the gates opening at 5.30pm.

There will be a first lot of low-level and quieter fireworks at around 6.30pm.

At 7pm the bonfire will be lit and at 7.30pm main display of fireworks will go off.

Tickets are £5 for adults (16 and over), £3 for children and £15 for a family. Children under 3 go in for free.

Sunday, November 7

Coney Hill Rugby Club fireworks display

This display is located at Coney Hill Rugby Club on Metz Way in Gloucester.

Tickets are £4 for adults and £3 for children.

Gates will be open at 3pm for a 6pm start.

As well as the fireworks display, there will be hot drinks, hot food, fairground rides and stalls, a sweet stall and a bar.

Longlevens Rugby Club firework display

This fireworks display takes place at Longlevens Rugby club in Gloucester between 6 and 9pm.

Tickets are £3 (or £5 on the gate) and family tickets for 2 adults and 2 children are £7 (or £10 on the gate.)

As well as the professional fireworks display there will be food stalls, a bar and children’s rides.
