THESE photos were all taken at last night's celebratory Boob Ball at the Sub Rooms in Stroud.
The event - a fundraiser for Breast Cancer Now - was hosted by mums Sarah Dowling-Wilkinson and Bex Turley.
Sarah, 42, from Nailsworth and Bex, 37, from Rodborough became friends last year, hooked up to chemotherapy pumps in Cheltenham General Hospital.
Both had been diagnosed with breast cancer – Sarah just one week after the birth of her third child.
After months of gruelling treatment to eradicate the disease, the two have teamed up to raise money for Breast Cancer Now.
Saturday, the day of the Boob Ball, marked a year since Bex – a children’s cancer nurse – had her first chemo; it was also the day she met Sarah.
"Because it was Covid, I was on my own in hospital – and this girl came crashing through the door. We instantly bonded," said Bex.
Their sell-out celebratory Boob Ball in Stroud Subscription Rooms on January 22 was their way of showing their gratitude for the care they’ve received.
