THE funeral of teenager Ramarni Crosby, who was tragically killed last month, will take place on Monday, February 7.

The service - a celebration of Ramarni’s life - is being held at Gloucester Cathedral at 1pm, with everyone who knew the teen and his family welcome.

Ramarni, from Frampton on Severn, was just 16 when he was killed on December 15.

In a post on social media, a member of Ramarni's family shared the funeral plans: "The funeral and celebration of Ramarni’s life will take place on the 7th February at 1pm.

"The service will be held at Gloucester Cathedral.

"Everyone who knew Ramarni and the family are welcome.

"Ramarni’s burial will follow the service at Gloucester Crematorium at 2:30pm. We ask that family and close friends only attend the burial.

"Everyone is welcome to make their way to Old Richian’s Rugby club where family and friends will return after saying their last goodbye to Ramarni.

"We ask that everyone attending will wear colourful clothing as this represents Ramarni’s character.

"I personally would rather there be no red worn.

"Ramarni is so so missed by all his family and his girlfriend and his friends.

"We thank you all for the support and love during this sad time for us.

"Family flowers only please, if you would like to make a donation to Danny Lee Davis's fundraiser in memory of Ramarni that would mean a lot.

"All money raised will support youth organisations within Gloucester to try and engage and educate our children about knife crime and supporting underfunded organisations to keep our children off the streets and in a safe environment."
