These fantastic photos of B-52s at RAF Fairford were taken by Michal Stanislawski.
Four of the US Air Force strategic bombers arrived at the base on Thursday, drawing crowds of aviation fans.
While the arrival of the Stratofortress bombers has coincided with increasing tensions between Ukraine and Russia, it is understood the planes are carrying out scheduled missions as part of the Bomber Task Force.
A post by the U.S. Air Forces in Europe and Air Forces Africa Facebook page stated: "B-52 Stratofortress aircraft, support equipment, and personnel from Minot Air Force Base, arrived at RAF Fairford to execute a long-planned Bomber Task Force rotation.
"Occurring since 2018, bomber rotations are part of a U.S. European Command (EUCOM) and United States Strategic Command joint mission series focused on sustaining peace through deterrence."
Designed and built by Boeing, B-52s have been in operation since the 1950s and have been regular visitors to Fairford in recent years. The bombers are is capable of carrying up to 32,000kg of weapons and can fly for more than 14,000km without refuelling.
