THE EAGERLY anticipated Flying Scotsman made its way through Stroud yesterday evening.

We have been inundated with your stunning pictures of the famous steam train.

Yesterday the Flying Scotsman pulled steam train The Cotswold Venturer from London to Worcester and back again, after its trip last month was postponed due to Storm Eustice.

While the only stops being made between London Paddington and Worcester Shrub Hill were to pick up passengers in Slough, Reading and Didcot, there were still plenty of opportunities to see the locomotive as it thunders across the country.

Despite its trip being postponed due to Storm Eunice yesterday's journey seemed worth the wait for many.

The photos range from locations such as Stroud, Kemble and Coates.

Some of the images were taken by Gloucestershire Camera Club members, others were sent in by our readers.

We hope you all enjoyed the Flying Scotsman's visit.
