A MERCEDES driver faces a hefty £300 legal bill.
David Aldridge, aged 43, of Juniper Way, Stonehouse, was caught speeding in a Mercedes Sprinter last September.
The incident took place on September 27 last year on the A30 Dunheved Bridge in Cornwall which has a 60mph limit.
The case was proved under the single justice procedure at Bodmin Magistrates Court on Wednesday, May 11.

Aldridge was handed a £182 fine and must also pay £90 in costs plus a £34 victim services surcharge.
The total of £306 must be paid by Wednesday, June 22.
Aldridge was also given three penalty points on his driving licence.
The defendant's guilty plea was taken into account when imposing the sentence.
