RESIDENTS should be vigilant following an energy rebate related scam, according to Stroud District Council.
The council is advising householders to be vigilant as they have been made aware that scammers are contacting people by phone and email and requesting bank details in order to access the energy rebate.

Stroud District Council will never call residents and request their bank details over the phone.
Anyone who is concerned about any contact they have received regarding the energy rebate scheme should contact the council by e-mailing revenue.services@stroud.gov.uk or calling 01453766321
