I have no doubt that there will be many people expressing their opinions on the resignation of Boris Johnson.

Where does one start?

The fact that he has gone, or at least is going, unless of course that is just another lie, has to be the best thing, but surely the worst thing is that his replacement will be chosen from the bunch of nodding dogs (male and female) who have been propping him up ever since equally pathetic members of the Tory party decided he was the best person for the job.

What does it say about their judgement or is it just that the other candidates were worse. Well, we know that isn't the case as Rory Stewart was one of them but he couldn't have fulfilled the role as he is honest and extremely intelligent. He was very quickly rejected.

Boris Johnson must have been so worried about the full extent of his dishonesty being exposed that during the last election campaign he refused to be interviewed on T.V. by Andrew Neil even though all the other Party leaders had done so.

What was he afraid of? Now we know, although millions of us knew years ago. I've heard people say recently in street interviews that they would vote for Boris Johnson again. I've heard people say he's entertaining and funny and that he's done a good job.

What planet do these people come from? He is supposed to be the P.M. and presenting an image of this country around the world but people think he's an entertainer.

It seems unfair to pick out just one of the candidates for the replacement P.M. but I nearly fell off my chair laughing last night when I heard Suella Braverman say "my first duty is to the country" and then a list of total nonsense including something about getting rid of the "woke culture", whatever that means.

If it helps people pay their gas bill I'm all for it, but I somehow think it won't.

To think that a member of the Cabinet who has been supporting that buffoon in No 10' and complicit in all the sleaze and corruption around him could now have the audacity to claim a duty to this country is just beyond belief but of course this is the Tory party we're talking about.

Just about everything they come out with is beyond belief. How do we know when they are telling lies? When their lips are moving is the obvious answer.

Time and time again we hear that ridiculous phrase "he got Brexit done".

The fact that his whole premiership has been built on lies must make even the most gullible of Brexiteers realise that all those benefits that we were going to enjoy by leaving the E.U. is just a lot of nonsense.

If there is anybody out there who still thinks Brexit was a good idea, I invite them to remember what it was they voted for and tell us if it has been delivered and if it has, can it be shared with the rest of us, because I've yet to hear anybody claim that they are better off because we are no longer part of the E.U.

Also they should remember that David Cameron allowed the lunatics to decide on the future of the asylum to try and placate the far right of the Tory party, not because it would make us all better off. Even Siobhan Baillie said that it was too much of a financial risk to leave the E.U. until she was told to change her mind. That's democracy!!
