DOZENS of bikers revved up to give a much-loved dad the send-off he deserved.

Dozens of bikers met outside Philip Ford & Son Funeral Directors in Cainscross Road, Stroud on Friday to join much-loved Riggy- Peter Rigglesford - on his last ride.

They escorted the hearse on its way to Gloucester Crematorium, where the funeral was held.

"Words cannot express the overwhelming love and support everyone showed me and my dad," said daughter Claudette Rigglesford.

"I would like to thank everyone who supported my dad on his last ride.

"To all the fellow bikers that joined my dad, I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for being there for him.

"It was an amazing sight to see you all following him.

"He would have loved every second of it.

"The funeral could not have turned out any better.

"It was as perfect as it could be and I will never forget the support I received from everyone."
