If you tune into Caught Red Handed over the next couple of days you may see some things that look familiar.

The BBC One show, presented by Dom Littlewood, looks at the different ways the police and the public are fighting crime.

And two cases featuring on the programme this week took place in the Cotswolds.

On Wednesday the show will document the case of dangerous driver Patrick Williams, who flipped his car on the A433 near Culkerton and narrowly avoided a crash with an oncoming vehicle.

He received a suspended sentence.

Thursday's show will feature a case where a gang of five men committed 42 burglaries across several different counties, including the ram raid at Bourton-on-the-Water post office.

They were jailed for a total of 37 years and four months.

Both episodes will also feature victim interviews and discussions with Gloucestershire Police officers who were involved in the case.
