PUPILS at Thomas Keble School have collected their GCSE results today.
Headteacher Steven Shaw said he couldn't be more ‘proud’ of his students.
He said: “We would like to celebrate and congratulate all of our students who have received their examination results today, the first set of external exams since 2019.”
“There was a real sense of excitement and anticipation as students arrived this morning to collect their results.
“We are absolutely delighted with their excellent performance, and we could not be prouder of their achievements.
“These young people have shown extraordinary resilience and determination throughout the significant disruption to their education caused by the worst public health emergency in this country in the last 100 years.
“We would like to thank our dedicated and passionate staff who have worked tirelessly to support our students, and our parents and community for their continual support and encouragement.
“We wish all our students the very best in their next steps of education safe in the knowledge that they have developed the character and skills needed to excel in wherever their journey takes them.”
