AWFORD Jean Margaret 

Of Stanton Road, Stroud (Worked at The Railway Inn, Dudbridge).

Sadly, passed away on Sunday 21st August 2022, aged 88 years. Much-loved Mother to Jackie, Phillip and Rebecca.

Dear Mother-in-Law to Mark, Bev and Rob. Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. Funeral Service to take place at Gloucester Crematorium on Friday 23rd September 2022 at 12 noon.

BIDMEAD Alistair

Alistair, a stonemason, died as the result of a work accident in Sydney, Australia, on August 5th, aged 35.

He leaves behind his parents Alan and Tricia and his sister Imogen. Alistair’s funeral will take place at the Great Tythe Barn, Tetbury, GL8 8XA, on Wednesday 14th September at 2:30pm, with arrival from 2pm.

A private cremation will follow at a later date. All who remember Alistair are welcome to attend and please dress to feel comfortable. Alistair’s hearse will pass through Minchinhampton where he grew up at around 1:45pm.

Peacefully at Northfield House on 22nd August, aged 105. A beloved mum, nanna and great grandma.

OWEN Garry Robert

Sadly passed away on Monday 29th August aged 71 years.

THOMPSON Norris Anthony (Tony) Formerly of the Falconer Practice, Stroud. Peacefully on 27th August at Cheltenham General Hospital, aged 85 years.

Much loved Husband of Bernice, loving Father of Mark, Stuart and Emma and Grandfather of eight.

A requiem mass will take place at the R.C. Priory Church of the Annunciation, South Woodchester, on Friday 16th September at 11.00am, followed by interment.

WEBB Elizabeth Ann

Formerly of Painswick, age 83, passed away Friday, August 19th, peacefully at her home in Eastington. She was born on December 1st, 1938, daughter of the late Henry and Edith Taylor, of Swells Hill.

Elizabeth is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth and sister Barbara and survived by her sons Kevin and Ian; and grandchildren Kimberley, Philippe, Luke, Benjamin, Ben, Jessica, Jacob, Thomas, Amelia and Lee.

A celebration of her life will be held at the Gloucester Crematorium on Tuesday, September 13th from 15:30.

Attendees are encouraged to arrive in more casual dress, but a more traditional dress will be respected.
