Why is this year's event so special?

Due to the pandemic the raft race has not taken place since 2019.

The Cotswold Canals Trust, who organise the event, is also celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.

This year's race is also in honour of Luciano Magalotti, former landlord of the Clothiers Arms and a true community hero.

All proceeds will support Cotswold Canals Trust’s 50th Anniversary Year Golden Trow Appeal, and continue to support the Charity and its volunteers to restore and maintain the canal corridor.
