SALLY Pegler of the Gloucestershire Camera Club has been enjoying autumnal morning walks at Whitcliff Deer Park near Berkeley and took these stunning images.
This is the deer rutting season - one of the great wildlife spectacles when stags fight over females by duelling with each other.
Whitcliff is the last operational medieval deer park of the many which were once present in the Severn Vale in the 16th century.
The 120 hectare park lies on a ridge of land between the River Severn and the Cotswold escarpment and is open to the public.
It is located at Park House, Blackhall, Berkeley, GL13 3QT.
Leave the A38 at Stone, park just before reaching Ham and stick to public footpaths through the park.
