ROAD CLOSURES will be in place for this weekend's Half Marathon taking place in Stroud.
The annual event, which will be the 40th Stroud Half Marathon, will take place on Sunday, October 23.
The 2022 route will be changed slightly from previous years
The race starts and finishes on the Cainscross Road, adjacent to Marling School field.
Several road closures will be in effect, with the event beginning at 9am.
Here are the closures in full.
1. A419 Cainscross Road
From Merrywalks roundabout to Cainscross roundabout
Between 7.30 am and 1pm.
Length of 1.2 kilometres
2. Standish Lane
From Standish Church to A38
Between 9.20am and 11am
It is for the entire length of 2 kilometres
3. Grove Lane, Whitminster
From A419 Chipmans Platt to A38
Between 9.30am and 11.15
Its entire length of 2 kilometres
4. Paganhill Lane
From Stratford Road to Cainscross Road
Between 9.50am and 12.30pm
Access to be maintained at all times for emergency vehicles from Fire and Ambulance Stations and access for bus services.
Its entire length of 600 metres
5. Oldends Lane
From A419 Bristol Road to Midland Road
Between 9.35am and 12pm
6. A419 Dudbridge Road
From Cainscross Road to A46
Between 8.45am and 12.30pm.
