A MUCH-LOVED play centre in Stroud has received a new hygiene rating. 

Food hygiene ratings reflect the hygiene standards which are found on the day of inspection by the local authority - they are not a guide to food quality.

Ratings are given on a score from 0-5, with five being the highest.

Go Bananas Leisure Ltd in Ebley Wharf, Westward Road, Stroud was given a new three-out-of-five score after assessment on September 13, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.
