A DECISION has been reached on a 5G mast near a school and high street.
A planning application was submitted to Stroud District Council in December for the installation of a 5G 20m street pole and additional equipment cabinets in Gloucester Road, Stonehouse.
Yesterday, February 1, permission was granted.
Many members of the public had their say on the application.
Comments of support include the improvement in network coverage and an appropriate location.
Several concerns were raised within objection letters, including poor public consultation, proximity to schools and being unsightly.
More to follow.
