A MAN has been remanded in custody after being charged in connection with an alleged stabbing in Gloucester high street on Tuesday afternoon (April 4).
Thomas George-Pain, 34 and of Russell Street, Gloucester has been charged with Section 18 wounding with intent and possession of a knife in a public place.
He appeared at Cheltenham Magistrates' Court on Thursday, April 6, and was remanded in custody. He is due to appear in court again next month.
Both charges relate to an incident on Eastgate Street in Gloucester on Tuesday, April 4.
A man aged in his 30s who sustained an injury has since been discharged from hospital.
