GUIDED canal walks are returning for the summer season.
The first walk departs from Stonehouse tomorrow (Saturday, May 20) at 10.30am.
Guided walks will take place throughout the summer running until Saturday, September 30 departing from either the Wallbridge Visitor Centre or Stonehouse Court Hotel.
These leisurely walks, led by Cotswold Canals Trust, volunteers cost £5 per person and will last approximately 90 minutes.
Along the towpath, walkers will have the opportunity to learn about features and heritage of the canal, the wildlife that thrives and future plans for restoration.
Numbers are limited so the CCT recommend booking in advance to guarantee a space, although walkers are welcome to turn up and pay on the day.
The walks will take place rain or shine so walkers are advised to dress appropriately for the weather and wear sturdy footwear.
