COTSWOLD Lavender’s owners have announced that the fragrant fields will open to the public shortly.

The popular lavender fields, located at Hill Barn Farm Cottage in Snowshill near Broadway, will be open for the summer season from Wednesday, June 14 until Sunday, August 6.

Early to mid-July is expected to be the best time to see the pretty purple flowers at their peak before harvesting.

Cotswold Lavender is a family farm which has farmed the land for three generations over the last 60 years.

The lavender display field stretches over 70 acres with stunning views over Broadway and the Vale of Evesham and has been named one of the most Instagrammable places in the Cotswolds.

In the months when the lavender fields are closed to the public they grow other crops including wheat, barley, beans and linseed.

The farm does not take bookings in advance so tickets must be purchased on arrival by card only.

In June and August tickets for adults cost £5.50 and tickets for children (5-15yrs) cost £2.75.

However, in July when the flowers are in their peak season adult tickets cost £7.50 and children's tickets will cost £3.25.

Under 5's go free.
