A NEW bike shop has opened its doors at Dobbies Garden Centre in Haresfield.
The Electric Bike Shop in partnership with Cube Store UK opened in April.
With celebrations underway the company is now offering free test bike rides next weekend on June 2 and 3 for its official grand opening as well as various discounts.
The store is home to over 100 electric and non-electric bikes including cargo bikes, mountain bikes, road and leisure, as well as a collection of parts and accessories.
It comes after The Electric Bike Shop, formerly e-Cycle UK, closed its Stroud branch in John Street last Thursday, May 18.
The much-loved store had been in the town for six years.
Dan White, director of Cube Bikes UK, said: “We’re delighted to be opening our second UK concept store in partnership with The Electric Bike Shop.
“The new retail set up in Gloucester is fantastic with our very best bike ranges available, a first class workshop and an excellent specialist store team dedicated to providing a first class experience to our customers.”

Free test rides of electric and non-electric bikes will be available between 10am and 4pm on both days ranging from children’s bikes through to a full selection of adult bikes.
Customers on the day will receive a complimentary soft drink with the first 50 customers able to take home a selection of free goodies from Cube.
