When walking by Woodchester Lakes this evening it was depressing to see how much litter had been left by a party of merry-makers.
This included two large dirty towels, two pairs of socks, several empty cider cans, an empty wine bottle, a white plastic bag and a vast quantity of plastic food wrappers. There was also – see to the right of the McDonald's drink container – a signed Uniform Pass for 1 Student, who I won’t embarrass by naming.
Please respect Mother Nature. A simple maxim to live by – take nothing but photographs and leave nothing but footprints.
I appreciate the SN&J normally publishes beautiful photos – but it may stir consciences if this one gets publicity.
