A GROUP has been created to 'save' the future of a popular pub which is currently closed.
The Old Neighbourhood Inn, Chalford, is currently up for sale.
A group called Chalford Hill Community Pub has come together to discuss the potential of the pub being taken into community ownership.
As part of this, they have launched a survey to ask residents and interested parties their thoughts on the project.
"We want to gather ideas from as many people as possible for what the pub, building and space can offer the community in the future," said a spokesperson.
"We also want to prove community interest so that we have a better chance of securing funding from various sources and get an idea of possible levels of funding from our own community
"Finally, we want to find more people with relevant skills to volunteer their time now or work with a community business in the future."
The deadline for completing the survey is Sunday, June 11 at 10pm.
