VINTAGE children’s toys, historic jewellery and enormous statues are among a few of the items on sale at a new auction room near Stonehouse.

Long-established business Stroud Auctions has rebranded to Harper Field Auctioneers & Valuers and has moved to a new site in Ebley Road at the Horsetrough roundabout.

The name change is a reference to the land on which the saleroom is built.

An opening event was held on Friday with visitors and customers looking at all the antique goodies on offer.

On sale is everything from Star Wars figurines to classic paintings and watches to vintage cars and motorcycles.

The family business was founded around 20 years ago and was previously located at the Bath Road trading estate near ALDI in Stroud.
