NEW pictures have emerged of Slad Road following the floods last night.
Slad Road, Merrywalks, and Beeches Green were just some of the roads in the town centre badly affected by last night's floods.
These new images show the extent of how much Slad Road was affected.
In December 2020 rain also caused heavy flooding in Slad Road.
The scenes from 2020 - which were reminiscent of the 2007 floods - saw cars submerged in deep water by the Co-op and Lloyds Pharmacy.
