TWO young men from Dursley have been charged following an alleged attack on a man aged in his 60s earlier this year. 

The man was reportedly attacked by three teenagers in St Aldate Street near Kings Square in Gloucester city centre at around 12.30am on Sunday, January 8. 

In a previous appeal, Gloucestershire police stated that the man suffered "serious injuries" including multiple fractures to his face, a black eye, cuts to his nose and forehead, and a broken ankle that required surgery.

Two boys, a 19-year-old from Cam and a 20-year-old from Dursley have been charged with grievous bodily harm. 

A 19-year-old boy from Chippenham has also been charged with the same offence. 

The case will be heard at Gloucester Crown Court on Friday, July 14. 

The charges were brought under the Offences Against the Person Act 1861 as well as the Crime and Disorder Act 1998.
