AS usual I would like to thank the Stroud News & Journal for maintaining impartiality and continuing to grant us a right of reply to our numerous detractors.
If only the BBC could do the same!
But perhaps that would be a little too much to expect from a state propaganda organ.
Dr Richard House has published a full rebuttal to Marianna Spring’s crude BBC hit piece on the Light paper elsewhere - yet today I would only like to draw attention to the undemocratic and censorious nature of Mr Wetton’s almost Pavlovian response evident in his urging the SNJ to cancel and deplatform those with different viewpoints to his own.
Could it be that our detractors simply know that they will almost invariably lose against us in open debate, and that therefore silencing us is their only option?
