FAMILIES enjoyed hunting for gnomes at the weekend.
The Eastcombe Gnome Hunt on Saturday and Sunday was held to raise funds for the village primary school.
Families picked up maps at the school before setting off on the hunt which finished at the village hall, where prize gnome were collected and delicious homemade cakes were served.
It was sponsored by Sawyers Estate Agents (Incorporating Fine & Country).
Sawyers branch manager Clive Brown said: "The children at gnome HQ were so excited and had been busy making sure the gnomes were dressed to impress for the big weekend. We enjoyed seeing the village so full of life."
