A BMW driver has been charged with being over the cocaine limit while driving in Stroud.
Elliott Leonard, aged 25, whose address on the court list is given as High Street, Arlingham, was allegedly caught by police while over the drug limit for cocaine and benzoylecgonine - a form of the same drug.
He was arrested while driving a BMW Series 3 in Bisley Road, Stroud on January 14.
In addition, he was also allegedly in possession of one gram of cocaine.
The case was heard at Cheltenham Magistrates on Wednesday, July 12 and adjourned.
Editor's note: According to the court list, an arrest warrant was issued at the July 12 hearing as the defendant failed to attend and this was included in our original report. We understand that the failure to attend court was due to documents being sent to an address not occupied by the defendant and that the defendant has since been in touch with the authorities.
