PLANS TO build 55 new affordable homes in Stroud are a step closer.
Countryside Partnerships has completed the acquisition of land at Dudbridge Hill in Stroud, where it is set to create a development of 55 affordable homes in partnership with Bromford.
The site benefits from full planning consent, and construction is set to commence in the coming months.
The development will comprise a mix of traditional houses and a number of apartments within two designated apartment blocks.
All of the homes will be delivered as affordable housing, which exceeds local planning policy requirements.
Darren Dancey, managing director of Countryside Partnerships West, commented: “We are thrilled to be moving forward with our plans to bring 55 much-needed affordable homes to Dudbridge Hill in Stroud.
"It is a pleasure to continue working with our affordable housing partner Bromford on this development, which will have a real, positive impact for the local community.”
