A RAINBOW of runners ran, hopped, skipped and danced their way around the playing field of Cashes Green Primary School on Sunday, September 3.
Home-Start Stroud and Gloucester’s inaugural Colour Run saw an explosion of colour as volunteers showered participants with vibrant powder paint during their laps around the playing field.
Annelize Gwen Van Staden, from Studio Fit Gloucester Ltd, led the spirited warm-up session, setting the energetic tone for the event.
Darren Cusdin of DBL Entertainment provided the rhythm with lively music, keeping the runners grooving.
Funds raised from the event will support local vulnerable families with children under the age of five.
Ri Ferrier, director of Home-Start Stroud and Gloucester, expressed her pride in the incredible energy brought by volunteers and participants.
She said: “It was fantastic to see families enjoying a fun day out while raising vital funds for us.
“We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our event sponsors, Fifth Dimension and Tesco in Quedgeley.
"Their support played a pivotal role in making this event a success.”
