A CARE home in Stroud is inviting the community to toast a special milestone – its ninth birthday.
Care UK’s Scarlet House in Westward Road is hosting a 1950s themed party to mark nine years since the home’s opening.
There will be live music from the Mini Concerts, who will perform classic 50s favourites at the event tomorrow, Thursday, (September 14) from 10am-5pm.
The Museum in the Park is providing artifacts from the 1950s and guests will also be treated to a celebratory cake plus delicious party food.
Home manager Lyndsey Dixon said: “We’re thrilled to be inviting the community to join us in celebrating our ninth birthday.
“It’s been a wonderful nine years and we’ve created some incredible memories together with the residents here at Scarlet House.
"We’ve welcomed some real characters into the home, built long-lasting relationships with our neighbours and hosted plenty of exciting events – including welcoming almost 30 dachshunds into the home’s garden earlier this year!
“We can’t wait to see everyone come together to enjoy the celebrations and listen to residents share their favourite moments of life at Scarlet House!”
