THE SECOND ever Dursley Pride was celebrated over the weekend.
Dozens of crowds joined in celebrations on Saturday, September 23 with live music, brilliant performers, food, stalls and face painting.
The parade began at Rednock School and was led by a rainbow-coloured fire engine plus a multi-coloured trailer with a speaker blasting gay anthems.
Crowds were led though the town centre where the event carried on at the Chantry Centre.
Founder and town councillor, Tyler White, previously said he wanted the event to be as popular as Brighton Pride.
He said in a statement: "Dursley Pride 2023 was a great success for our second year.
"I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who came along, but also to all the shops and local businesses who donated Raffle prizes or other items.
"Thanks to all our acts, volunteers and committee.
"Thank you to our amazing local police and fire service who came along and helped with the parade.
"And a huge thank you to the Chantry Centre for having us again."
