Congratulations to Horsfall House carer, Michelle Allsopp, who recently won the Dementia Link Worker Award for Gloucestershire at the Gloucestershire Dementia Conference on September 20 at Blackfriars Priory.

The award was presented by a member of the team on behalf of Steve Shelley-King, Chair of Gloucestershire Dementia Training and Education Strategy Group.

Nicola Priest, Operations Director at Horsfall House also attended the event and commented saying, “Michelle is such a huge asset to the incredible team here at Horsfall House, and it was wonderful to see this award honour her efforts and recent training as part of this great Gloucestershire wide initiative.”

Horsfall House is a not-for-profit Nursing Home with a thriving Day Centre and Home Care service based in Minchinhampton. They deliver care to residents and clients who require support throughout the day or 24-hour care including those living with dementia as well as offering palliative care, respite and short breaks.
