Thursday, September 28 saw Stroud Camera Club holding its first competition of the new 2023-2024 Season.
The competition judge was Graham Walton, past Chairman of the Midland Counties Photographic Federation who gave every photograph the benefit of his many years of experience with considered critique of composition and technique.
The competition is divided into Print and Digitally Projected sections.
Winner of the Print Section with 20 points was Jeff Wilson with his wonderful portrait entitled “The Profile” Runners up, each scoring 19 points were Roger Matthews with “Bow Fiddle Rock” and Richard Atkinson with “Sula”
In the Digital section, the winner with 20 points was Richard Atkinson with “Wet Qualifying” Three runners-up, each scoring 19 points, were David Hunt with “I’ll Bee Collecting Pollen,” Gary Canning with “Follow The Leader” and Kerrin Malone with “Slot Canyon”
