A COUPLE from Cam have recently marked their diamond wedding anniversary.

David and Daphne Denning married at Synwell Chapel in Wotton 60 years ago on September 28, 1963. 

The pair were set up on a date by their friends. 

David went to Highfields School in Dursley, meanwhile Daphne previously attended Wotton School. 

They recently celebrated the special day with a family meal. 

The couple have two daughters, Rachel and Angela, three grandchildren, Katie, Tyler and Oliver and one great-grandchild Ruby.
