A DRIVER has been arrested following a two-vehicle crash near Stroud yesterday.
Police were called at 4.45pm yesterday, Thursday, following a report of a two-vehicle crash at Walls Quarry, Brimscombe, near Stroud.
A spokesperson said: "The driver of one of the cars was arrested on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol and has been taken to hospital for treatment.
"The road was closed to allow for recovery of the cars and later reopened."
