MORE THAN fifty residents gathered on Thursday night for the launch of a new exhibition.
The Show of Hands 2023 winter exhibition, features over 60 pieces by more than thirty artists and makers from Stroud and across the south west.
Located at the former Halifax Bank in Kendrick Street, the exhibition was curated by Stroud-based figurative painter Clare Bonnet, fine jewellery designer Heidi Hockenjos plus curator Barnie Page, founder of limited editions publisher, Sacred Thing.
The former Halifax bank at 12 Kendrick Street has recently been acquired by Alice Begg and Robbie Humphries, the husband and wife team behind Humphries and Begg in Lansdown.
The exhibition is open Fridays and Saturdays between 10am and 5pm, with a special late opening for Stroud Goodwill on Friday, December 1, between 5pm and 9pm and between 6pm and 9pm on Thursday, December 14.
