A CHARITY shop in Stonehouse has reopened after a revamp. 

Sue Ryder in Stonehouse High Street reopened on Friday following a revamp. 

Volunteers have welcomed the news that the shop has reopened, saying that the new store looks 'fabulous'. 

Jacqui Young, who moved to the area just over a year ago and wanted to get into volunteering locally, said: “The refit is amazing, the shop really stands out on the high street now. 

"I am delighted we can finally open the doors again and welcome customer back.

"We have a great team here and we are looking forward to getting back behind the till and sorting in the stockrooms.”

Christine Merchant, who has been volunteering for three and a half years, said: "The shop looks fabulous!

"The last few years haven’t been easy, with Covid and having to shut down for so long, so I really hope the locals get behind us and support us, it’s just the boost we needed.”
