A NEW FISH and chips offer has joined the indoor market at Five Valleys shopping centre offering foodies the traditional British favourite seven days a week.

Cotswold Fish and Chips can be found between Armadeli and La Cantina selling fish, fishcakes and sausage deep fried in their crispy, golden batter as well as a range of pies and of course chips.

Owner, Jay Naidu, moved to Stroud six years ago and has been a resident of Five Valleys for over four years, living in the centre’s residential apartments.

Jay is also the proud owner of Namaste and Asian Plaza within the Five Valleys market offering authentic Indian street food and all the ingredients needed to cook a curry at home.

He said: “We have had a great six months trading at Five Valleys shopping centre, it’s a great location with an overwhelming variety of food options expertly cooked by a community of passionate food experts – we’re proud to be part of that community.”

“We are excited to plug the gap in the current offer with that traditional British favourite – fish and chips.”

Cotswold Fish and Chips purchases its produce from local suppliers, including Knights who are also based at the market.

Jack Simpson, Centre Manager at Five Valleys, said: “We hope foodies are thrilled to hear about the new fish and chip offer, it’s definitely a dish that’s missing from the market – we wish Jay every success.”
