TWO Downton Abbey stars are due to perform in Stroud next year.
Actors-turned folk duo Michael Fox and Michelle Dockery are set to play at the Sub Rooms on Thursday, February 1, 2024.
Known by their stage name Michael and Michelle, they first met on the set of the popular TV period drama.
They soon discovered their shared passion for music – jamming casually in between shooting scenes.
The pair started playing regularly as a duo for fun and six years later signed their first record deal and debut EP, The Watching Silence, released via Decca in May 2022.
Michelle played Lady Mary Talbot in Downton Abbey and has also starred in Netflix’s Anatomy of a Scandal and Apple TV+’s Defending Jacob.
Meanwhile, Michael played footman Andrew Parker in Downton and also appeared in Christopher Nolan’s Dunkirk.
Tickets are £16.50 with the event starting at 8pm.
