POLICE have issued an alert following another series of overnight break-ins and thefts across the Stroud area. 

Lawn mower stolen in Painswick 

A stable in Painswick was broken into by thieves at 10pm on Monday, December 18. 

They stole a lawn mower from the property in Greenhouse Lane.

Car targeted in Lansdown Road

Meanwhile, a mini speaker plus personal documents were stolen from a vehicle parked in Lansdown Road. 

It is believed the theft took place between 5pm Tuesday, December 19 and 9am yesterday, Thursday, December 21.

Van targeted in Nailsworth 

In addition, a van in Nailsworth was recently targeted by thieves. 

A Makita Radio, Makita battery charger and a battery were all stolen from the vehicle parked in Craddock Court, Forest Green.

Car repair garage in Brimscombe burgled 

A car repair garage in Brimscombe was also targeted by thieves. 

Autocraft Services located in Brimscombe Mills was broken into by unknown means at approximately 1.50am on December 19.

A Ford Transit van, a Yamaha YZF90 Quad Bike and a children’s electric bike was stolen, as well as tools and garage equipment.

Motorbike stolen from driveway in Nailsworth

Meanwhile, a motorbike was stolen from a driveway in Nailsworth. 

It is understood the motorbike - a Honda NC750X VRM - had a steering lock on it so it is believed thieves carried it away. 

The incident happened between 8pm Monday, December 18 and 7am Tuesday, December 19.
