A MASTER ice cream maker has whipped up a tasty treat in the form of a new healthy drinks brand.
Ben Vear - whose family own Winstones Cotswold Ice Cream - has recently launched a new drinks business that aims to shake up the soft drinks market.
Ben has launched a new company called Living Things with a line of prebiotic sodas which are low sugar and gut friendly.
The range includes three different flavours - raspberry and pomegranate, peach and blood orange and lemon and ginger.
Ben says the drinks are also carbon negative and packed in fully recyclable cans.
The Winstone family has been making and selling ice cream from their iconic factory and shop on Rodborough Common since 1925.
Ben, a fourth generation Winstone relative, has previously written two books about how to make organic ice cream.
CEO and co-founder of Living Things Ben Vear said: “Tasting good and doing good don’t have to be in conflict.
“More than ever the consumer isn’t looking for another sugar-filled soft drink but for solutions that don’t just taste great but also pack health benefits and environmental credentials.
“With Living Things we’re creating a new class of soft-drink that finally does all three.
“We’ve taken many months to develop Living Things into what we believe can be a category defining product, brand and aesthetic.
“So we’re incredibly excited to finally be sharing it with consumers and investors.”
